[18:17] <Taconut> Hello?
[18:20] <Taconut> As for debugging sockets for Python, is there any easy way to check to see if socket.recv can get anything? Could I just connect to 127.0.0.1:80?
[18:23] <Taconut> I noticed something
[18:31] <Taconut> It might be easier to set up a "fake" socket on another port, such as 27016 and point usbmux.py to that. Then it would be easier to monitor if data is being sent correctly, and if it is being received correctly. This test could be preformed with Python and Jython and the results would be easily comparable.
[18:31] <Taconut> How would I go about setting up an INET stream socket should be compatible with Jython
[18:32] <Taconut> And then how would you send and revieve data from that socket easily
[18:32] * sinistersnare (~sinisters@pool-108-28-93-153.washdc.fios.verizon.net) has joined #jython
[18:37] <Taconut> I forgot to say this: When trying to revieve data from port 27015 on jython, it just hangs. Not even an empty string is returned. Weird....

[18:53] <Taconut> Well, after sniffing port 27015, I can see that Jython is sending everything correctly, and iTunes is responding like it should. The problem is that Jython isn't receiving the sockets like it should. iTunes is sending the information, but Jython can't pick it up for some reason.
[18:54] <Taconut> I hope someone sees this at some point :). Hopefully I haven't been talking to just myself for 10 minutes :)
[19:16] <sinistersnare> Taconut, someone will pick up on it hopefully :p
