[2:14] <fwierzbicki> pjenvey: thanks! I forgot that we had pyexpat.py. It looks like we don't keep a copy of expatreader.py in our Lib. Probably we should now and remove the java check. The latest test_sax does have lots of failures but this looks like the part to work on to fix Django (so not Django specific fixes since it looks like we are much of the way there in Jython already)
[2:16] <fwierzbicki> paolo: so if you want to try this out and you are able to do Jython builds, grab a copy of expatreader.py from cpython and remove that java check. Then put it in Jython's Lib/xml/sax directory and build it. Let me know if you want help in this. Eventually I'm likely to look into this since I'd like to upgrade to a newer Django at my day job.
