[12:51] <henkelh_> Hi all, I'm using Jython 2.2.1 on java1.6.0_31 (weblogic scripting tool) and it seems like there is an issue with the os.stat()
[12:52] <henkelh_> I'm trying to get the uid and gid of a directory, but I always get 0 returned.
[12:53] <henkelh_> Anyone able to provide some help here?
[12:53] <henkelh_> Or is this a known issue?
[12:53] <henkelh_> Platform is Linux x86_64
[12:59] * lheuer (~Adium@unaffiliated/lheuer) has joined #jython
[13:00] <henkelh_> python shows the correct values, jython is wrong...
[13:07] <agronholm> does java have a way of returning uid and gid of a directory?
[13:11] <henkelh_> agronholm: It seems like there is no such thing. Found two possibilities, one via jni and one based on jna.
[13:11] <henkelh_> There is a bug report regarding an issue with stat: http://bugs.jython.org/issue230021

[14:42] <Arfrever> henkelh_, agronholm: st_uid and st_gid attributes of objects returned by os.stat() work for me in Jython 2.5 and 2.7.
[14:43] <agronholm> henkelh_: if you're stuck with the old jython, then you're SOL
[14:43] <agronholm> or at least seems that way

[17:14] <pjenvey> henkelh_ - 2.2 doesn't support returning those values
[17:14] <pjenvey> as there's no way of getting that info with pure java. 2.5 uses jnr to get it

[19:34] -groupcat- [Olympic Global Notice] freenode wishes all of the Olympic competitors the best of luck in the upcoming Olympic Games, the opening ceremony kicks off in a little under 30 minutes. A very British Hurrah to all!

[21:45] <katsuo> In jython-installer i found Python.g file(grammar), generated lexer using antlrworks 1.4.3 and imported to my netbeans project.. But there is a line " private ErrorHandler errorHandler;"- "import org.python.antlr.ErrorHandler; " gives me errors ex "error: no suitable method found for recover(PythonLexer,NoViableAltException)". How can i fix this?
[22:17] <henkelh_> pjenvey: Okay, thank you for this information. I'll check howto proceed in this matter, as jython version is bound to the weblogic version.
[22:18] <henkelh_> agronholm: Yeah, it looks not that promising...
[22:19] <henkelh_> Arfrever: Yes, I know. I also checked out jython 2.5.2 and it worked, but I'm stuck with an old version.

[23:47] <Epona> if im using jython 2.5.1, what version of django should I be using?
[23:47] <agronholm> dunno, but you should upgrade to jython 2.5.2 at least
[23:48] <Epona> is there an easy way to do that?
[23:48] <agronholm> download and install?
[23:48] <agronholm> depends on how you use jython
[23:48] <agronholm> as standalone jar or from an installation dir
[23:49] <Epona> I think I used the jar last time
[23:49] <Epona> and ran into some errors
[23:49] <Epona> on 2.5.2
[23:49] <agronholm> what errors?
[23:49] <Epona> eh I can't seem to recall right
[23:49] <Epona> now
[23:50] <Epona> ill give it a try though
[23:52] <Epona> have to go to another job now heh
